Great New Way to Tutor YOU

I can now tutor you over the internet and by phone using a free program called SharedView by Microsoft.  To download: http://connect.microsoft.com/site94

You will also need a Windows Live account to sign into this program.  (FREE)
If you use Hotmail, Messenger, or Xbox LIVE, you already have a Windows Live ID.  After opening the program and starting a session you will be prompted to log in using your Windows Live ID or you can sign up for one in the same dialog box.

With this program I can invite you to a session and share my computer programs with you while I show you how to do a task in any of the Microsoft products.  Such as 2007 Access, 2007 Excel, 2007 Word, 2007 PowerPoint.

The way it works is I can share my computer view with someone or they can share their view with me.  Both can view only.  They can not change or touch anything on your computer.  The person viewing does get a mouse pointer so they can point to things on the other persons view.  No audio, so a phone is also needed.

In-person tutoring rates are $35 an hour.  If you would like to try this SharedView with me I will offer you a special rate of $20 an hour with the first hour free.  Min 2 hours for this low rate (includes your free hour).

Snow today

I really am getting tired of this weather.  I don't mind staying home because I am a home body but I do have work to do!  For a month I have been trying to get to Jellico on a Friday to teach and the weather has just not let me go.  I am suppose to have a class today, and tutoring session this week and am suppose to try for Jellico again Friday.  I am betting none of that will happen.  I miss Texas.

Oh well another cup of coffee and maybe I will be fine.

Contextual tab for Picture Tools, Where is it? Word 2007

Another question about Word 2007.  Someone sent me an email asking where the contextual tabs were for the Picture Tools.  You must select the Picture/Object to see the context based contextual tab for these objects.
